Stress Hack: How Keeping a Gratitude Journal Changed My Life

At first, I was skeptical about the whole gratitude thing. As a writer, I well understood the therapeutic benefits of jotting down my thoughts on paper, or simply stringing words together to evoke an image or feeling. But how could transcribing what I liked about my life not only reduce feelings of envy (as some research has shown) but also help keep depressionat bay, relieve symptoms of physical illness, and even strengthen my relationship with my boyfriend?
